Adult Social Workshops
A social group designed for people who are unable to craft at home. Although these workshops are designed to give a more social aspect of life, with a hint of crafts, there is always something new on our timetable to inspire keen crafters.
We have regular knitting and crochet workshops on a weekly basis, along with our adult social classes, all designed for those who want to learn a new skill.
Our workshops are designed to be a social gathering with the help of our crochet expert should you need it. Our group sizes are growing, but are limited to 10 in a class to ensure you get the attention you deserve.
The workshops include the patterns needed if you are having a tutorial. Should you want to join us for the social side, you are more than welcome, but you are to supply everything you need. However, we are KING COLE suppliers and so have patterns, hooks and yarn in our workshop .
To date, we have made many items, such as hats, blankets, jumpers, baby clothes, socks and granny squares. If you haven’t tried crochet before, and believe you are unable to learn…let’s put our expert to the test- if Tracy cant teach you nobody can!
We have our own knit and knatter running in an afternoon. Here we have a specialist tutor who is able to help, but is also able to supply tea and biscuits if you want to come and knit with others. We have a large table, enough to fit 12 adults in at a time, who are all able to share ideas, tricks and tips with each other.
Being a KING COLE supplier, we have our own wool range along with patterns should you need extra supplies. We often run charitable give away to be able to give those in need such as a woollen blanket. If you wanted to get involved with this please get in touch.
